Land
A huge, private 32 acre parcel of undeveloped land for sale at the edge of the ocean on the Nicoya Peninsula. Breathtaking views of the Pacific, the beach and the rivermouth. Birdwatch, surf, kayak, beachcomb, swim, fish, open an eco-tourist business, or do nothing at all. Welcome, paradise awaits you.
Carved from a single 200 acre tract of forest and farmland, this parcel borders the Rio Ora and lies across the river from the Camaronal National Wildlife Refuge where 2,500 Olive Ridley sea turtles came ashore to lay their eggs in November, 2007. The only sounds you will hear are the surf, the birds, and the monkeys, but it is within a few miles of the well established tourist destinations of Playa Carrillo, Playa Samara, and Punta Islita.
The surfing is amazing. Tidal pools at the rivermouth are filled with sea creatures, and the beaches are strewn with beautiful driftwood and seashells. Wildflowers, rare orchids, and indigenous ancient trees are everywhere. Herons, spoonbills, aracaris, storks, ibis, egrets, curassows, trogons, cranes, parakeets, and parrots abound on the property. Deer, armadillo, opossum, iguana, squirrel, otter, coati, margay, and blue morpho butterflies are frequently seen. Seldom are there any crocodile or caymen at the rivermouth and locals sometimes swim or fish along the shore.
Popo’s Expeditions can help you build your house or business. Let us assist you with planning, permitting, installing electricity, water, cable, and phone lines, finding the best building materials, and constructing the home or business of your dreams.
The asking price for this entire 32 acre piece of paradise is $7 million, however sale of somewhat smaller parcels may be considered. There is no land like this available on the entire Nicoya Peninsula. Serious inquiries only please.
