This course is for those who have surfed before and who can usually stand up on a board. You should be comfortable paddling out in waves three feet high or more. Focus is on standing, turning techniques, judgment of waves and how to “go down the line.” Packages for as low as $818 per person! See rate charts below.
We'll start at Playa Carrillo, one of the best, least developed, and cleanest beaches in Costa Rica. As your skills improve you can try your luck at other area beaches including Camaronal at the Camaronal National Wildlife Refuge.
Personalized surf instruction, dynamics of surfing, paddling, manners, safety, nightly accommodations at Popo’s Expeditions, help in planning other activities, and a free t-shirt to remember us by are included in our package tours. We can arrange round-trip airport transportation from both international, and smaller local airports to Popo’s.
