Today's picture is of Blackie. This is one of three kittens born just before Christmas out on the island where we live during the winter on the north gulf coast of Florida. I want to keep all three kittens but I have friends that one two of them so we will probably just keep Blackie. I may change her name to Foxie if I find out for sure she's a girl but Capt. Frank def likes Blackie from Black Eared the Pirate best of all and he says she's going to make a heck of a ship's cat.
Kind of a cold and rainy week out on the island this past week. Not even enough light to paint by inside (we have kerosene lamps and 12 volt lighting) and too windy or rainy outside to paint. Sure hope next week is more productive. I had to completely abandon my art campsite tent for storing completed paintings or blank canvases as the rains have been so heavy there is always water inside the tent! Not good.
Just went to the dollar store with the Capt. and now he is waiting at the library with me for me to finish updating my blog. Since there isn't much news I'll keep it short for his sake. More later.
